Insulating hood
The Stira insulating hood is hand made and adds an extra layer of insulation to the attic hatch.

The Stira insulating hood is custom made to fit the frame of the Stira so it takes up no additional floorspace in the attic. The hood uses gas struts to aid in opening up the hood. The hood can also be treated with fire resistant lacquer. As the hood is hand made to order there is a lead time of two weeks on this item. Important: The Insulating hood cannot be combined with the Stiramatic remote control upgrade.
