We began making the Original Stira over 25 years ago and because of our unique experience in not only manufacturing our stairs, but installing and also maintaining the Stira through our 10 year guarantee the Original Stira has become one of the most robust attic stairs available anywhere.

We manufacture all the parts and many of the larger machines that make the Stira in house so that we have total control over our product.

The Stira is assembled by experienced staff so that no defects are allowed to leave the factory.

We source our timber from timber mills in the US and Canada that are commited to harvesting timber in a sustainable manner while being of the highest standard. These high standard suppliers in north America ensure that the timber is correctly treated meaning minimum waste is produced during production.

Stira fitting service We have been manufacturing and installing our own stairs since the very beginning, our reputation has been built in Ireland not only on the quality of our product but on the efficiency of our fitting team. Our fitting team gives us the unique experience of fitting our stairs in every imaginable ceiling configuration, when we couldn't fit we went back to the drawing board and developed a solution that would work.
