As custom-built stairs are hand built outside of our assembly line a non-refundable deposit must be taken to begin manufacturing of the stairs. If you decide that you do not want the stairs after manufacturing has begun and want a refund, we will refund your money minus the deposit.
The deposit for custom-built stairs as of the 1st of January 2010 is 50% of the total cost.
When ordering DIY stairs through any of our websites the customer takes on the responsibility of ordering the correct stairs. We will offer as much advice as we can to help the customer select the correct stairs however the ultimate responsibility lies with the customer to select the correct stairs.
When ordering a fitted stairs the customer is required to give us details to the best of their knowledge, however the first visit is seen as a free consultation so no cost is incurred by the customer should they give us the wrong details by mistake.
All Stiramatic Stairs can only be fitted after the house has been completed, this avoids damage to electronics and damage to the stairs due to builders using it during construction.
